Fundraise for IMDSA
Tools, ideas, and resources to help sustain our community
Thank you for joining us in raising awareness and support for mosaic Down syndrome. Every family that shares their story helps another family feel less alone. Every fundraiser — no matter how big or small — keeps IMDSA’s programs alive.
In 2026, IMDSA must raise $50,000 to sustain the services our community relies on, including email support, social media information, awareness campaigns, and our annual Research & Retreat Weekend.
We cannot do this without you.
This toolkit gives you everything you need to create and run your own fundraiser. Whether you raise $50 or $500, you are making a meaningful impact that moves IMDSA closer to our mission.

π Pick-a-Day Calendar Fundraiser
A Pick-a-Day Calendar is a simple and visual way to fundraise. Create a calendar for a specific month or use a basic 30-day calendar and invite supporters to select a day to sponsor. Each day corresponds to a donation amount, such as $1–$31. For example, day 17 equals a $17 donation. As days fill up, share updates and celebrate progress. Once the calendar is full, your goal is reached
π³Bowl-a-thon Fundraiser
A Bowl-a-thon is a fun, community-friendly way to raise funds while bringing people together in support of mosaic Down syndrome. Families, friends, schools, or local organizations can host a bowling event paired with sponsorships, pledges, or a small silent auction—just like long-time IMDSA supporter Roxanne Batezel has done for over 15 years.
Choose a local bowling alley and date
Decide how you’ll fundraise (team fees, pledges, sponsorships, silent auction, or a mix)
Customize your flyer and invite your community
Collect donations and submit funds to IMDSA
Hosting doesn’t have to be complicated or large to make an impact.
Roxanne generously shared the flyer she uses for her annual Bowl-a-thon to help other families get started. You are welcome to use this as inspiration for your own event and adapt it to fit your community.
