IMDSA Volunteer Questionnaire

We are looking for qualified people to volunteer for our team and expand the scope of our mission! If you’re interested in helping IMDSA and its mission to create awareness and support the greater mosaic Down syndrome community, please complete the questionnaire below.

Vice President job duties:

In the absence of the President, or if the President is unable or refuses to act, or at the discretion and request of the President, perform the duties of the President.

Serve as President for the remainder of the President's term of the office, if the Presidency becomes vacant.

Assist the president in all National affairs.

Be authorized to sign checks for the organization.

Social Media Monitor

Qualifications:

· Experience using key social media outlets (Facebook and Instagram)

· Strong writing and editing skills, with strong attention to detail

· Ability to use online tools to engage members, donors, and corporate partners

· Outgoing, enthusiastic, and creative

· Ability to work independently, as well as within a team

· Desire to support IMDSA's mission

Job duties:

· Answering commentor’s questions as appropriate or referring them to the IMDSA Executive Director

· Responding to comments and questions in a timely manner

· Addressing negative posts in a professional manner

· Apologizing to commentors when mistakes happen

Time commitment: Flexible 1-3 hours per week, a little more during our fundraising months (March and October).

Website Maintenance:

Qualifications:

· Ability to navigate IMDSA website

· Desire to support IMDSA’s mission

Job duties:

· Navigate the IMDSA website and identify any broken links

· Communicate broken links to IMDSA Executive Director

Time commitment: Flexible 1-3 hours per week
